Arnelda Broadaway
In 2008, I left Maryland to help rebrand and reopen the iconic Fontainebleau Miami Beach, a role that challenged me to grow both professionally and personally. Managing complex events and building relationships in such a dynamic environment solidified my passion for this work.

​In 2021, I transitioned from hospitality to public service because I was ready to make a difference. At the National Governors Association, I managed event logistics for meetings serving governors, government officials, and stakeholders, orchestrating every detail with precision and care. This experience deepened my understanding of the impact events can have on fostering collaboration and driving meaningful change.

I was born and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and I take great pride in my roots. I’m a graduate of Suitland High School and a proud member of Philos, an auxiliary organization of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
With over 20 years of experience in hospitality, I’ve built a strong track record in event planning and operations.
